Before reporting an issue
- Confirm the YouTube video is a regular watch page, not Shorts, live, or embedded playback.
- Confirm the video has native English captions and YouTube captions are enabled.
- If sentence replay or word-level highlighting is unavailable, the caption track may not include accurate timing.
- Try refreshing the video page after changing extension settings.
