Service scope
EnglishCC provides caption enhancement, basic dictionary lookup, vocabulary management and review assistance. It is not an official YouTube or Google product. We do not guarantee learning outcomes, translation accuracy or compatibility with every video. Third-party changes may affect features.
Acceptable use and content rights
Follow applicable laws and third-party platform rules. Do not infringe copyright, bypass access restrictions, attack the service or access another user’s account. Video, caption and third-party dictionary rights remain with their respective owners; using EnglishCC does not transfer them.
Accounts, synchronization and data
Protect your account and devices. Sync requires a network connection and valid sign-in; offline changes may upload later. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud records. Export a copy of important vocabulary using the existing export feature. Data processing and deletion are described in our privacy policy.
Service changes and responsibility
Features and availability may change through maintenance or third-party changes. Assess definitions and captions for your purpose; they are not professional advice. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. These terms do not exclude statutory user rights or provide a blanket waiver of legal responsibility.
Updates to these terms
Material updates will be reflected in this page’s revision date and communicated through appropriate product channels. Paid plans are not available yet; this page makes no subscription or pricing commitment.
